Introduction to division
The division of advanced nursing strives for cross-disciplinary innovation in the nursing sciences, including in medical safety, care for disaster risk reduction, and care tool development by fostering the skills necessary to discover advanced issues and truths by raising interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education in order to support the coexistence and mutual dignity of people. In this division, we aim to contribute to specialized basic fields through interdisciplinary research aimed at strengthening the foundations of the nursing sciences, and to train human resources who will contribute to nursing education and nursing practice.

Message
Although the field is called advanced (sentan) nursing, what it means to be "leading edge" (sentan) changes with shifts in perspective. The foundations are essential. Abraham Maslow expressed health as an extending point (sentan). Please cultivate the strength to spread your roots and sprout out new shoots while at the graduate school.
